Project Instructions

You'll need: heavy paper or card stock, 8 1/2 x 11 inches, scissors, glue or tape, ribbon or string.

Directions:

Band Hats

1. Click on Personalize and Print Your Project to open the Create & Print workspace.
2. Personalize the text. Select the text to write over it or change size, color, and font style.
3. Click Print Project.
4. Cut along outlines and solid lines.
5. Crease along dotted line.
6. Tape band ends together, end to end, centering any text.
7. Measure band to desired size, and tape.
8. Glue or tape remaining pieces to the band.

Visor Hats

1. Click on Personalize and Print Your Project to open the Create & Print workspace.
2. Personalize the text. Select the text to write over it or change size, color, and font style.
3. Click Print Project.
4. Cut out visor and bands.
5. Score and bend on dotted lines.
6. Attach bands above brim at protruding sides of visor.
7. Tape bands together to size.

Cone Hats

1. Click on Personalize and Print Your Project to open the Create & Print workspace.
2. Personalize the text. Select the text to write over it or change size, color, and font style.
3. Click Print Project.
4. Cut out hat along solid lines.
5. Bend into cone shape, overlapping area as indicated, and tape or glue to secure.
6. Attach string or ribbon to tie under chin.

Tips:

Print your project on scrap paper first to check the alignment, spelling, and overall look of the project.
